About this experience

About this experience
Booking an experience includes all the materials needed during the candle making class, plus your very own candle to take home. During the workshop, you will be able to pick your very own fragrance and vessel. The instructor will then guide you through a step-by-step process on how to make your candle! Please note, we do not allow food or beverages during the experience. Upon arrival you will be asked for proof of ID to check-in.

Price: $55

Duration:
Classes typically last between 45 minutes to an hour. Once the class is over, the candles take approximately 45 minutes to set enough to be taken home. You can come back after 45 minutes or anytime before closing. We also hold your candles for up to 30 days, so feel free to come back another day within that timeframe.

Cancelation/ Late Policy:
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled booking. We understand that traffic and parking can be difficult in the Chicago area, so allow enough time for parking. We cannot accept guests into the class who are more than 10 minutes late. This is to ensure the best experience for everyone. If you are running late, we recommend rescheduling for another time or date. You can reschedule your class at any time if you need to. We offer guests full refunds for cancellations made up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to their class. For same day or next-day cancellations, refunds will not be issued.

What to do while you wait:
While you wait for your candles to set, feel free to shop in our retail section. You can also explore the Bucktown area. Some nearby restaurants we recommend: Thrd Coffee, Yolk for breakfast or brunch, or The Stop Along Pizza and Stuff for world famous burgers. Explore Bucktown for some amazing artwork or walk along the 606 Milwaukee Point. Still can’t decide? Ask one of us, we’re happy to help with more recommendations!

Parking:
We understand parking in Chicago can be difficult. Therefore, we recommend taking a Lyft/Uber if possible. If you decide to drive, the best place to park is off Wilmont Ave. or Leavitt St. because it is residential, non-permit parking. Be aware not to park there when street cleaning or block parties are taking place. In addition, there is plenty of metered parking on nearby streets. Be sure to arrive early so as to find parking and make it to your reservation on time! Feel free to download the Park Chicago app if and when parking along Milwaukee Avenue and neighboring streets. Parking rates will apply in the amount of $2.50 per hour or otherwise stated in the app.

Age Requirements:
Participants must be 10 years or older with a parent signature required if under the age of 18. We do not allow children under 10 to participate in classes because classes require the handling and pouring of hot wax. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the workshop areas. Thank you for your cooperation.
